Marisol Sanchez currently serves as VP of Legal Affairs, General Counsel for Endress+Hauser, Inc. (USA), where she serves as legal counselor and strategic legal and business advisor from a local and global perspective for the company operations in the Americas and assists in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures, risk preventative counseling, measures and procedures, and overseeing the legal and compliance functions of the organization. At Endress+Hauser, Marisol leads the Women’s Integrated Network and is on the Philanthropy Committee. Prior to joining Endress+Hauser, Marisol was a partner in the Litigation, Appellate and White Collar Crime Practice Groups with the law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans, LLP in Indianapolis, Indiana. Before joining Bose McKinney, she served as a judicial law clerk for Chief Justice Randall T. Shepard of the Indiana Supreme Court. She obtained her Jurisdoctorate Degree at Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Bloomington, Indiana. Prior to pursuing her law degree, Marisol worked as a Branch Manager for National City Bank of Indiana (now PNC). She graduated with honors from the University of Puerto Rico where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Management and Marketing.
Marisol currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Indianapolis Zoo, Board of Directors for the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), Board of Directors for the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP), IU Maurer School of Law – Alumni Board and Latino Alumni Advisory Board (President); Board of Directors, Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce; Indy Chamber’s Regional Strategy Council; Board of Directors for the Institute for Study Abroad-Butler; and the Local Rules Advisory Committee for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. She also served as a Director for the Indiana State Bar Association (Counsel to the President, 2004-2005), Indiana State Bar Foundation (2005-2009) Indianapolis Bar Association (Board, 2008-2009) and ICLEF (2004-2009).
Among her most recent recognitions, Marisol was named as one of IBJ’s Forty under 40 and was a Nominee for the YWCA Salute to Women of Achievement Award, (2010). Marisol is a graduate of Class XXXIII of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series (2008-2009), the IBA Bar Leader Series IV, and the FBI Citizens Academy. She has also been recognized multiple times as one of Indiana Rising Stars (Business Litigation), a 2008 Champion of Diversity Award recipient (1/2008), and an Up & Coming Lawyer (2007). She was a finalist for Indy’s Best and Brightest Award (legal category, 2007), Diversity in Practice Award (2007), and Center for Leadership Development – Distinguished Achievement Award (2007) and is an Indianapolis Bar Foundation Distinguished Fellow, Indiana State Bar Foundation Fellow, and an Indiana Conference for Legal Education Opportunity Fellow.
